Make servicing the tip ejector system and counter assembly much easier! The platen holds the pipette body in an upright position to disassemble/assemble the tip ejector assembly. The larger hole holds the body at the coupling nut thread, while the smaller hole is positioned to capture the ejector operating rod during disassembly. The platen also holds the pipette in place while the tip ejector assembly parts are being loaded back onto the operating rod and while reloading the counter assembly.
