Reach your ejector rod without damaging it and use this to buffer hammering. While the pipette is aligned on the platen (PS 10001), the concave end of the clip removal tool is to be placed on the tip ejector rod (maintain pressure on spring). Use a mallet to tap the tool and remove the securing clip.
