Gently pry and lift off the colored plunger button cap from the mLINE pipette and lay aside for reassembly later on. Shop all colors here.
Step 2:
Gently push up on the tip ejector button with your thumb to loosen/detach the black or blue colored body collar from the pipette. Lift and lay aside for reassembly later.
Step 3:
Continue to gently slide and remove the tip ejector mechanism from the pipette body until it is fully removed.
Step 3A:
With the tip ejector removed, you should have these three parts laid aside:
- New mLINE replacement Tip Ejector (gray or blue colored): SA 726005
- Body Collar: SA 726002
- Plunger Button Cap: Shop all colors here
Note: The tip ejector collars and tip ejector may come in a blue or gray color. Other than color, they are both the same and interchangeable
Step 4 Reassembly:
Gently line up the tip ejector posts with the body slots. Once aligned, slowly insert and slide the new tip ejector assembly fully into place.
Step 5 Reassembly:
Re-attach the blue or black colored collar assembly. Gently push it down until it seats firmly in place.
Step 6 Reassembly:
Re-install the plunger button onto the pipette plunger rod.
Step 7 Reassembly:
Test out the newly replaced mLINE tip ejector by installing and ejecting pipette tips.
